As evident as ever was Lauryn's artistic genius, but her voice was marred by remixing all of her songs. We are faithful and understand that life has been tough for her in a public way; she shouldn't try so hard to reinvent herself. It was awkward to have to watch her trying to control every aspect of her band and back up - the remixing and displays of controlling significantly detracted from what would have been an amazing performance. Lauryn's voice is as amazing as ever and her artistic genius was as evident as ever. We stayed through the rain and still danced the whole night (or at least until we could figure out what song it was through the remixing).
